We have spent a serious amount of time trying to fix this before coming to the forum. I have been through my sendmail configuration, the dns setup, the linux install etc etc and I cannot fathom how to fix the following:
Symptom: Mail is not being sent from openemm or direct from sendmail. Sendmail says the message is defferred.
In my mail.err file I have a lot of entries that state:
Milter (bav): error connecting to filter: Connection refused by /home/openemm/var/run/bav.sock
Have a made a permissions error? If anyone can help I think this is the very last hurdle in getting up and running for a test.
