Sending "Import"-Reports to email-address in import rec data

Post by ManfredCC »

Sending the import report in function "Import function for recipient data" doesn't work.

After importing cvs-data the results where emailed to the "Email address for reports" in openemm 6.2. Since upgrading to openemm 2011 sending the report to the given email address doesn't work anymore!

We will try to reproduce this to check if it is a bug.

Sorry, could not reproduce. Just to make sure I understand your problem this is what I did:

1. Go to tab "Profile Administration"
2. Choose an import profile
3. Enter an email address in field "Email address for reports"
4. Save changes to import profile
5. Import a CSV file using the modified import profile

Each time I do an import I get an email with subject "Recipients import report" and the statistics content which is shown in the browser after the import is finished.

But I have an idea: You can configure the sender address of these mails in file emm.properties at the end. Maybe your firewall or spam filter refuses mails from default address openemm@localhost. If you change emm.properties make sure to restart the application!
