Sending 1 e-mail for both text and HTML

Post by henry_shadowjet »

Hi everyone,

I'm still new to OpenEMM and currently I got version 5.5.0 installed on my Debian Linux. Anyway, everything is working great (as far as I know).

I just have a question though, because OpenEMM separates users based on their e-mail preferences (HTML, Offline HTML or Text e-mail). This is a great feature, of course, however it requires us to make 2 contents.

I'm just wondering if there is a way to combine them and make them into a single composition. I have seen a sample that a company gave me, it is under 1 HTML file with "--Next$Part--" as a separator between the contents.

Is there any way of doing such a thing with OpenEMM?

Thanks in advance ^^

How we do it: We create a TXT and a HTML template each with various placeholders for text (like headlines, text blocks, callouts, etc.) and fill the placeholders via the mailing. In this case you do not have to create separate versions for TXT and HTML.

Props to you and your team! And thanks heaps!
