hello there

I am totally new to OpenEMM and currently responsible to evaluate the benefits of OpenEMM for my company's marketting team. i have installed OpenEMM on my local machine and below is the configuration and details of the software installation on my machine in below order:
- jDK 8.91
- Python 2.7
- Mysql Python 1.2.3
- Mysql 5.7
- Tomcat 8.0.36
- OpenEMM Email Marketing

after running the Start.Bat file it gives prompt OpenEMM> . However, when i open browser and run the http:// localhost:8080 it throws error and do not run the OpenEMM

Below is the setting in the OpenEMM folder for setting for local webApp:
cms.ccr.url=http://localhost:8000
system.urll =http://localhost:8000

Tomcat port = 8080
OpenEMM Port = 8000
Mysql Port 3306

Could you please suggest what possibly could be wrong?

Thank you in advance.

Best Regards,
Anita

AFAIK, OpenEMM does not work with MySQL 5.7 (while 5.6 would be fine).
