Where is it? I can't find any.

There seems to be a lot of questions about bounce mail processing, and very little documentation.

For instance, a lot of talk about modifying bav.rule, but no syntax documentation.

Okay, so man 5 procmailrc has bavrc documented.

I understand that file. But I still cannot find any docs on the format of bav.rule, and I think this is where my problem lies.

I have a bounce message coming back, shows up in var/spool/filter, but doesn't make it to my bounce filter, or unsubscribes the address or anything.

Seems like it is getting filtered, like and out of office reply, rather than targeted as a hard bounce, as it should be.

So, if I read bav.rule correctly, the [filter] section is getting it, rather than the [systemmail] section, even though '^Return-Path: <>' is present in the message.

Any help appreciated.
