slrtscn.py can't parse maillog correctly

Post by speckner » Fri May 18, 2007 10:26 pm

Hello

seems like slrtscn.py can't read the maillog correctly. it can read it ok until April 24, then start to have "mtch is None for line ..." error on the log. seems like sendmail change its message id format?? We didn't modify any sendmail or openemm setting.

in slrtscn.py file:
parser = sre.compile ('^([a-z]{3} +[0-9]+ [0-9]{2}:[0-9]{2}:[0-9]{2}) +([a-z0-9_]+) +sendmail\\[[0-9]+\\]: *[0-9A-F]{6}([0-9A-Z]{3})[0-9A-F]{7,8}:(.*)$', sre.IGNORECASE)

dcdT375300000002 doesn't match the pattern *[0-9A-F]{6}([0-9A-Z]{3})[0-9A-F]{7,8}

any advice?

following is from maillog
