Filter address missing

Post by itsramesh_s »

Hi Team,

While configuring(OpenEMM2013) new bounce filter i don't see filter address, Forward incoming emails address check box and address available.

Without filter address filtering of bounces are not possible i believe.

Request openemm tech support and users who have resolved this issue please let me know how to address this issue.

Thanks,
ItsR

Hi,

Filter address is created automatically after creating new bounce filter.

my bave.conf file
news@mailer.mydomain.net alias:ext_5@mailer.mydomain.net

/openemm/var/spool/bav/bav.conf

ext_5@localhost accept:rid=5,cid=1,fwd=bouncer@mydomain.net
ext_5@mailer.mydomain.net accept:rid=5,cid=1,fwd=bouncer@mydomain.net
news@mailer.mydomain.net alias:ext_5@mailer.mydomain.net

sender address in bounce filter news@mailer.mydomain.net and ticked Autoresponder box.

I created vacation responder in my gmail account.

Sent mailer, target group has my gmail account as recipient.

Gmail sent vacation response to news@mailer.mydomain.net
here is gmail notification.

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

news@mailer.mydomian.net

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain mailer.mydomain.net by http://www.mydomain.net. [x.x.x.x].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.1.1 <news@mailer.mydomain.net>... No such user

When i sent direct mail to ext_5@mailer.mydomain.net forwarding to bouncer@mydomain.net received in inbox.

Any hint where i went wrong or suggestions how to fix these?

How openemm handles autoresponse's?

Thanks,
ItsR
