Forward filter behavior.

Post by jli »

Hi,

I have a strange behavior. I have configured a bounce-filter in openemm to manage delayed bounce. the generated adress is ext_6@mydomain.com. bav-conflocal is configured so that no-reply@mydomain.com is an alias.

So case 1:
I create a new mail and send it to no-reply@mydomain.com
It works and forward the mail as configured in my bounce-filter forward settings

maillog:

Code: Select all

Case2:
I answer an email sent from openemm with sender adress and reply-to adress set to no-reply@mydomain.com. And here its not working.

Do you have any idea why it's working in case 1 and not case 2 ?

Thanx,
John

When I send a test email to my bounce filter (the reply to address on mailshots - news@news.company.com) I have the same problem as your case 2 - which seems to be the opposite of your problem..

did you get anywhere with this?

This bounce filter is driving me mad..

Regards
