Missing Save Button

When creating content in a mailing, template, and in other areas there is no Save button in OpenEMM 2011. All we can do is click an Add button which does save the content but it adds an empty content item that we don't want.

If you want to edit a mailing already sent there is no save button. But if you want to edit a mailing not sent yet there should be an edit button.

That's not what we're seeing. We just created a new Mailing to confirm this. When we click the Content tab and then click on one of the default options (Text or HTML) we have the option of entering content but the only buttons available are Add and Back. There is no Save button. If we click Add, the content is saved but then we have a 2nd content option listed (either HTML or Text) that is empty.

You should read the user manual first to understand how content creation works in OpenEMM. You can create content for different target groups. The text field at the end of the list is displayed to add additional content for an additional target group.
