Splitting large mailings

I'd like to use openEMM to send out a certain mailing to a large group of recipients. The mailing itself is to trigger a registration process on our website.
In order to limit server load, I'd like to have openEMM split the mailings automatically into chunks of i.e. 10,000 recipients, and send these chunks out following a certain schedule (i.e. every 3 days, every week, ...) until every recipient has received the mailing.
It seems, that none of this is possible at the moment, so I would be grateful, if this functionality could be implemented.
