unable to create user - password unsafe

Hello,

I have installed the latest version 19.07.011 and like the previous versions, I am not able to create a user because every password I try to enter is unsafe regardless of what is in the password. I can type a bunch of garbage along with numbers and capitals and special char and it is always unsafe.

How can I get around this?

You do not have to enter a password: If you select menu 3 Security, sub-menu 2, the passwort is automatically created by the OpenEMMInstaller and displayed in blue color.

Yes. I already did that.
That is for the main password.
I am talking about adding another user using the GUI:
ADMINISTRATION > USER > NEW USER

I tried with 19.04.000.459 and I can not reproduce. Which version of MySQL or MariaDB do you use?

This isn't a database problem, it is a web problem.
The moment I begin typing in the password field, the UNSAFE red box appears and never disappears regardless of what I type.
I never get far enough to submit the form to the database.
Would it matter whether or not the connection I am on is http or https? Because I have not installed an SSL cert yet for this server.

You do not need SSL to operate OpenEMM.
