Target groups

Hi,
I have an issue with creating new target group with existing users. importing list with new profile name and created target group using datasource_id, which creates target group with zero list. where as recipient records updated and shows old datasouce_id, how to make importing list with new/existing recipients binds to same new datasource_id so that can created new target group for mailer?
Due to which am not able to do mailing. please suggest me how to solve this issue.
