Problem with router and MTA, collapse after send mailing

Post by rortin »

Hi everyone:

I have a problem when I do a mailing.
Normally I perform about 9000 mailing addresses.
The problem is that my router is collapsing because the MTA continues to receive data for a long time.
If i shut down my openemm server, i can browser by internet normaly, but if i turn on,.... the time in ping are so big like 140000 ms.
Why is happend this???

Thanks
Anton

You shouldn't be trying to send email with consumer grade material, and you shouldn't be doing it from home - that's what botnets do. You can get pretty cheap VPS these days and they are far more appropriate than sending from your home connection.
