Import Recipient state

Post by cerotto »

Hi,
Is there a way to import a csv Recipient-List with the state (Active/Optout/Bounce). The Export-File is set with a column 'agn_mxx' as state-holder. For a import a mapping with this column is necessary. How to handle?

Hi Andy,

One way to solve your problem is:
  1. 1. Split your list in 3 lists. One each for Active / Bounce / OptOut.

    2. Create 3 import profiles (=> Recipients => Import => New Import Profile)

    3. In the Import Profile Field "Mode" select how you want to import the recipients (add / bounce / optout / blacklist).

    4. Import each list with its respected import profile.

Best Regards

Importing from OpenEMM 5.5.1 to OpenEMM 2013 doesn't work. 0 Recipients set to status 'Bounced'. Looks like a Version conflict. Is there something to keep in mind by setting the state of Recipients manually in the customer_1_binding_tbl regarding the integrity of data.

Hi,

This is strange, because we had no problems going from 6.2 to 2013.

Please export your list and check the file and char-set settings manually (i.e. with PSPAD Editor).
Note: When you open a CSV in Excel that has more than 65K lines, Excel will cut the file.
