Preferences disappear

Hello,
I'm currently running a 2011 installation, and it has been acting a bit weird for some time now.
For example, I have a few different templates, which all share the same preferences (they all have the same sender's e-Mail adress, the same reply-to adress, the same title, the same tracking options, etc...)
However, it sometimes happens that, if I open one of these templates, all the preferences are gone (the sender/reply fields are blank, the tracking options are set to default). There seems to be no pattern to it, sometimes it's template #3, sometimes #5...
Anyone experience the same problems or does anyone have any idea what might be the reason for this?
