Hi all,

last week i used OpenEMM to send an newsletter to about 50.000 customers. We have often done this this year, but on friday Openemm just stopped working keeping 15.000 emails unsend. Now, what can i do to send thislast 15.000 mails ?

Best wishes

Joerg

Restart OpenEMM. The recovery script will detected unfinished mails and send out the remaining ones.

Nice idea,
but no this does not work. No email is send after restarting openemm

news01 ~ # tail -f /home/openemm/var/log/20110511-news01-recovery.log
[11.05.2011 08:12:48] 14951 INFO/main: Starting up
[11.05.2011 08:12:48] 14951 INFO/collect: Found 0 mailing(s) to recover
[11.05.2011 08:12:48] 14951 INFO/main: Going down

but the statistik tells that there are about 15k unsend mails in two mailings.

Maybe Sendmail's queue is full with undelivered mails (because of softbounces) and can not accept more mails ready to be sent?

So, after i was ill last week i took an look at openemm today.
The mailqueue was just empty.

So i tried some mails today, they werent send directly, i had to restart openemm twice before he starts sending out the mails. Also the maillog file wasnt writeable. Is there any howto about sendmail optimizing?
