OpenEMM and remote sendmail

Hello everyone,

I'm new to OpenEMM and not very good with technical knowledge either, so please take it easy on me.

So far, I've managed to install OpenEMM 5.4.0.1 on my Fedora 8 machine using the step-by-step instruction in the guide. It was quite simple enough, and I must say that the system is GREAT! Great work for the team.

I'm very happy with it and it runs perfectly (though I still need to understand some of the functions better)!

I'm just wondering, while on my machine it is no problem because the sendmail is run from the same machine. However, later on, the real implementation would be different because the sendmail server would be separate from where OpenEMM would be installed. I am considering the use of programs such as Fetchmail.

Is there any problems with this approach? If someone could give me a direction or hint, it would be greatly appreciated!
