OpenEMM 2015: Setup under Win & remote mysql

Post by sjlavena »

Hi all,

I'm trying to install OpenEMM for first time on a remote mysql (running in a linux or whatever box), and the OpenEMM installation on windows.

According the instructions I have to run setup.bat, but when I do that it tries to connect to localhost and seems to me tries to setup as the mysql is a fresh installation...

So, how I should proceed ? Should I ignore the setup.bat and deploy myself the OpenEMM ? If I do that, it will autogenerate all the tables ? What I will miss if I left setup.bat ?

What is your recommendation ? Can I configure somehow the python script to run on a remote mysql ?

Thanks in advance!!
