Maybe yes - you actually have to type "type" :) It's a tool on Windows that splits files.

I get the error cannot find "type".

Could it be a Vista issue?

Ok, what could I be doing wrong?

I downloaded all parts, did not change any names on them, put them in a file on my c directory, then ran the script after changing version.

Error

So I decided to take them out of the file place in the c drive, no go, and tried on the desktop no go.

Did you place them in a particular file name? In the c drive or desktop?

Running this through CMD can't find the file, using the run promt errors that it can't find "type".

Is there another way to merge.

Could you please post the contents of your cmd-window?

As an alternative: Maybe this will help: http://www.xentrik.net/software/file_sp ... image.html (untested/just googled)

And what if you are doing a "dir" in C:\Users\tsteele.STONE>?
What does show up? Are the files in that directory?

You should maybe copy them to a place like C:\OpenEMM first (using the Windows Explorer) and then "cd" to that directory.

cd \OpenEMM

Then type "dir" and see if the filename is exactly the same as in your type command.

That worked, although the file seems small showing 344MB.
