VM download

Is the VMware download for windows server or for linux? I see that it is a .zip file but wanting to make sure.

i'm not sure but i think you can use the vmware-image os-independent. means on windows and linux vmware-servers

That is nice, but you still need an os on the VE, or am not understanding that?

With the (OpenEMM-)image that you download, there is already a CentOS Linux as OS included.

As pheelix said, this image can be run on Windows or Linux machines running VMware (which is available free on vmware.com)..

Thanks that clears that up.

I am just having an issue with command to merge the files.

OpenEMM-5.4.0.VMX-part* >> OpenEMM-5.4.0.VMX.zip

I did change it to correct version.
