customer.data bug

Profile retrievals and modifications via webforms do not work. But this does not make OpenEMM unusable, only this specific feature. We use the version 5.0.1 ourselves on this website for the OpenEMM newsletter. However, we are working on 5.0.2 to fix this bug (and all the others mentioned in the bug...

##agnuid##

@minichip: Indeed, the problem existed with 5.0.0 (as part of the double opt-in bug) but was removed for 5.0.1. Could you please check if your problem still exists with 5.0.1?

Thanks!

VMware version

You probably have noticed that the VMware version of OpenEMM is not yet available. The reason: To build it is a lot of work and since release 5.0.2 is coming soon (probably next week) we want to wait for it. VMware has two advantages: 1. For Linux users: runs "out of the box", no installat...

Does ##AGNUID## not work?

Since ##AGNUID## works fine in our installations and before we invest significant time to find out what is wrong: Is there anybody else out there who has the same problem?

agnTags

Ok, we checked the remaining agnTags listed above. All tags are only available in our commercial product (and not that vital anyway) and we simply forgot to remove them in the tag reference of the manual - sorry for that!

link encoding

The link looks ok. Do other (normal) web links get encoded? If not, redirect service is not working - probably a problem of the installation? Try port 80 instead of 8080.

OpenEMM can do this out of the box (if you are an advanced user ;-) 1. Create a mailing of type "date based mailing" and do not forget to activate it when you are finished (tab "Send mailing"). 1. Define a target group like "FollowUp" with definition "creation_date...

english salutation

Please define your own salutation in OpenEMM in this menu:

Settings -> Forms of address (yes, bad wording, will be changed in the next release)

In your e-mail use the tag

[agnTITLEFULL type=1]

Replace "1" with the number of the salutation you defined.

Yes, right now this is a feature of our commercial version which runs on a distributed computer platform. To use this feature for OpenEMM (which is a single server solution) we have to optimize the code which will take some time.

modules and records

No problem, this is a rather advanced feature of OpenEMM and not as intuitively designed as we would like it to be.
