afair there's a complete image of a virtual machine (cent os) with openemm installed, maybe that's the best way for you.

i can not compare the installations of openemm on windows and linux, because i never did it on a windows machine. the linux version is not difficult, but takes some time.

on the one side i would need the installation instructions and on the other side they description of your server, the path where you extracted the openemm-archive etc.

openemm is meant to be installed on a server instead of a local machine. so, i dont know whether you can use plesk to install it, but you should use putty for example, to connect to your server via ssh and get a shell where you can setup openemm. after you finished it successfully, you can reach you...

do you send the emails from a server with a fqdn ? many or almost every emailserver accepts emails only from servers using a fqdn because most spammers use servers with only an ip and not a domain name.

I never tried to setup OpenEMM in a windows environment. So I am not familiar with the steps of the installation. Is there a mailserver installed on your xp machine?
Most of your targetmailservers will not accept your emails, if you send them right from your ip instead of an domain.
