SOLVED: Having trouble getting forms to work

I'm using the example in the manual from page 162, setting the customer number to 1 and I'm having problems getting the $customerData.* tags to interpret. My form ends up looking like this: http://www.exxennage.com/temp1/openemm-form.jpg Notice that the tags are not interpreted. Fedora Core 5 OpenEM...

Language for Salutations

When you use the [agnTITLE] tag, how does OpenEMM figure out what language to use? It coming out in German for me. I'm wondering if it's working off a systemwide default setting. That would be O.K. if I could set it to English, but the intention may have been to make it a unique setting for each Rec...

Having problem with some [agn*] tags

When I try to use the following [agn*] tags: [agnSUBSCRIBERCOUNT] [agnUNSUBSCRIBE] [agnPROFILE] [agnDATADB_DE] [agnDAYS_UNTILL] [agnCUSTOMDATE_DE] A...

Yes, you can do that. 1. Go into "Settings". Click on "Edit profile fields". Create a new field called something like "PrivateMessage", make it 255 characters or however long you want. Name the database field something like "privatemessage". 2. Go to the indiv...

Englishisms

First of all for folks who claim that English isn't their first language, you guys do a AWESOME job of picking the correct words and spelling them right. I have found 2 misuses of English, which is a lot less that most Americans would have generated!!! :D 1. Being is spelled "being", not &...

And if I'm not mistaken, there's another piece to the Bounce handling that I'm having trouble getting to work. If you send a message out and someone replies to it, the configuration in the Bounce-Filters section of "Settings" should handle this. I'm having issues with this though. I'm on F...

Unfortunately, I’m on a system that has other stuff running on it. This sets me back a week or two because now I have to go find and set up another piece of hardware before I can even test the openEMM. :-( Too bad, because I need it now and it looks like a pretty decent tool from the documentation...

Minimum version of MySQL

What is the minimum version of MySQL for OpenEMM? The docs say 4.0, but I have 4.0.21 and I can't use the SQL script to create the database because it doesn't support: collate utf8_unicode_ci DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 on update CURRENT_TIMESTAMP and probably more stuff, but I gave up at this point beca...
