Re: Import + double-opt-in
Hi Qbota, While there may be much "cleaner" ways, a quick and dirty workaround is to write a script that reads the information from your text file and pass them to the second openemm form (..._doi_confirm) of the registration process. This is simulating a normal user registration, sends ou...

OpenEMM and Certified Sender Alliance
Hi, We are looking to get DKIM to work with OpenEMM and apply for a CSA (Certified Sender Aliance) membership. My questions is: Is there any one in the OpenEMM community who has OpenEMM + DKIM working and is a CSA member with this solution? If so, are you willing to share your experience? Thanks a l...

Re: Unsubscribe on import
Hi Flycs, I can think of two work-arounds, depending an the scenario you are looking for. (We are using 6.1 but this should work with 2011 as well): This is how I understand your scenario: - You have an openemm mailing list with recipients - You have an external file with recipient data - OpenEMM re...

[SOLVED] Re: Save Link-Parameter during subscription
Hello Markus,
Thank you a lot - it works!
My original mistake was that I tried to pass a parameter that was not defined in the database. Once I change the variable/parameter name to the database variable name, everything work fine.
Best Regards
Markus

Re: en_doi_confirm does not send confirmation email
Hi, I did not link this to any action based mail. I just want users to be able to register for the given mailing list (ID=3). If I use "en_soi" instead of "en_doi" the recipient gets registered and all is fine with the exception of lack of security/confirmation. 1.) The double-op...

Re: Link Action Not Reporting
When I go to recipients, and search for the appropriate modified field as >=1, it comes back with nothing. Try to seach for ">0" instead of ">=1" that should work. If you still don't find anything, take your test recipient, click on the link and look up the recipients profile ma...

[Solved] Save Link-Parameter during subscription
Hi, I am looking for a way to save a parameter, that came via the subscribe link, in a profile field. Background: We have promotion activities with different partners. The promo's may be identical, but the partner name is different. In order to know through which partner a registration came from, we...

Re: Pre-Header
I found the information in a white paper from the German eMail marketing company Dialog Mail (we have no association with this company). You can get a free copy of the white paper here: http://www.dialog-mail.com/_ueber-dialog-mail/neues/whitepaper-bilder-blockade.htm The document is in Germany but ...

Pre-Header
Hi, E-Mail clients use the first 2-3 text lines of a mailing for their preview function. Recently I read about a feature called "pre-header". This is suposetly a feature that allows you to pass the specific preview information to the e-mail client, instead of the e-mail app just taking the...

Re: Sending Multiple Emails
To my understanding it is not possible. Once a mailing is beeing send, the mails are created and placed into the sendmail queue (/home/openemm/var/spool/queue). Sendmail will send process the mails from the queue. Creating and sending a new mailing will place those new emails also into the sendmail ...

Re: email statistic question
Have you checked if your e-mail client, with whom you receive your test emails, is downloading pictures (white-list the domain of your OpenEMM server). The opening rate can only be meassured if the 1 pixel picture is downloaded. So if a mail client does not download the picture OpenEMM can't count t...
