This was just a corrected version of your example. We use ist for birthday mails (you need a data field with the birthday, of course) like

birthday = current_timestamp

As comparison pattern you should select MMDD without year. Hour, minute and second are never considered.

Of course, please see user manual for details. If you installed a fresh version of OpenEMM you will find some preconfigured mails, actions and forms you can use as basis.

Yes, you can fields of the OpenEMM database not only in the email body but in the subject line as well. Please see user manual for details.

Sorry, I was wrong. It is not "sysdate" (Oracle, our commercial version) but "current_timestamp" (MySQL). I have to look into the code to find out how to add or substract days from current_timestamp. It is not as easy as with Oracle.

An action "only for links" means that you can attach this action only to links (tab "trackable links" in mailings), but not to forms.

What I do not understand from your description: How do you want to trigger the action?

There is a hard limit of 500 hard bounces. We will provide a patch soon so that you can change the limit via configuration file emm.properties.

Actually, we have no recommendation. But if you guys work out a best practice procedure we are happy to include it in the official install guide.

Please note that since release 5.5.0 port 8081 has become 8080.

There is no limitation. OpenEMM sends out mails in blocks of 5,000 each.
