Re: Action based mailing send even when recipients has opted

Hello maschoff,

Unfortunately I can not test this with the demo account, because you can not activate Action Based Mailings on the demo account.

However, we start with the OpenEMM 2013 installation this week and will check on our life system.
I'll keep you posted.

Regards
Markus

Re: Multiple issues.

Hello Unicol, Here are some answers to your questions: 1.) If you "officially" send a mailing in OpenEMM, it is send! It can not be send again. This is an important safety feature, not a bug. You can copy the mailing (which creates a new mailing) and delete the send "test" mailin...

Re: Sending large newsletter is slow

I believe the answer is yes and no. The bounces, that the OpenEMM bounce-filter processes are EMAILS, return from a receiving mail server. Those may not be blocking your sending server. However, there are a number of cases, were bounce situations do block your sending server. Some examplese are: Gre...

Re: Sending large newsletter is slow

Hi John, Depending on your mailing-list quality it could be the case that your server get clogged by a large number of soft bounce related server messages (from the receiving mail-servers). You may want to check your mailing-statistic. The bounce rate on the main statistic page shows only the hard b...

Action based mailing send even when recipients has opted out

Hello maschoff, We are (finally) going to install OpenEMM 2013 in April. For this I wanted to ask you about an older issue (discussed in 2011), about opt-out recipients still receiving an action based follow-up mailing. Checking the OpenEMM 2013 handbook I could not find any reference to our issue: ...

Re: domainkey

We plan to integrate OpenEMM 2013 INCL DKIM in April. We are hiring a developer from Australia, who has Sendmail/DKIM/OpenEMM experience. I'll let you all know the results.

Re: domainkey

We are planning to install OpenEMM 2013 next month and have DKIM implemented with the help of an external developer. I will post more details, if we succeed.

Did anyone get DKIM to work with OpenEMM by now?

Hello, During the last couple of years the question of DKIM support for OpenEMM was raised a couple of times. Although DKIM is becoming increasingly important there had been little success on the implementation in OpenEMM so far. I would like to know if anyone on this forum did get OpenEMM 2012/2013...

Hi, You may want to check if the mailing-lists are the same in: - The 1. Form (where the user enters his details). Look for <input name="agnMAILINGLIST" value="XXX in the HTML code. The XXX represents your mailing-list number. - Mailing with DOI Link - Mailing to be send after the DOI...

Re: Are clicks counted in the opening rate

Thank you for the feedback.

How about HTML recipients who have set their mail client to not to show pictures? In this case the 1-pixel pic is not loaded.

However, if these users would click a lick it could be counted. Thus it could then be counted in the opening rate.
