the official handbook says that only linux is and will be supported for openemm. but you can install a virtual linux on your windows server :D

You could check the openemm-logfiles which should contain a more detailed error. Maybe no connection to database or something like this. I can also help you with your server, if you want me to. you maybe could reset the password for the user manually in the database via the console on the server.

and for the case that this does not work, you know that it's the installation in general.

which linuxdistribution have you installed on your server?

Thats possible if do not always use all you DynTags.
