We have to investigate this issue, since the feature works on all of our test machines. Maybe default permissions are different on different platforms.

It would be helpful for us if you provide your OS and version as well the MySQL version you use, i.e. OpenSuse 10.0 + MySQL 4.1.13.

Our tip: We just put online our first Windows version of OpenEMM (release candidate 1). Please wait for the final version and use it (installation is very easy, see http://www.openemm.org/fileadmin/docs/I ... -5.1.0.txt).

There is a confirmed bug with date fields (see http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.ph ... tid=848488) which will be fixed with 5.1.1.

The 'mysqladmin' error mesage means that the OpenEMM install script cannot find MySQL. Did you install MySQL, Python and the MySQL-Python module first? Is MySQL properly included in the registry (done by the setup tool of MySQL).

What version of Windows do you use?
