Please consult the logfiles in \OpenEMM\var\log, here the content of the *-semu.log (for the date the problem occurs) should bring some light into darkness. You can just post it here (if it is not too large, please).

Antanias, looks like OpenEMM does not recognize your system as a Windows. Can you prove this by starting an interactive python shell and type these commands: import platform print platform.system () and copy the answer? Perhaps Python behaves different on Windows Server 2003 (I have no access to all...

If you own the domain mybizcentre.com, this domain should be used (without the www). If you prefer to send your mail from another subdomain (e.g. newsletter.mybizcentre.com), then use this domain.

This is typically the domain you own and use as the sender domain.

The SMTP server on Windows runs out of the box without separate configuration (just ensure that there is a valid domain in MAILLOOP_DOMAIN in the COMPANY_TBL which can be set during installation or by starting config.bat.)

In the pure Windows version, there is, in theory, no configuration necessary for mail sending. The drawback is, you lose the flexibility that you enjoy using sendmail. All in all, it should send mail at all, if not, look in the directory \OpenEMM\var\spool\ADMIN and/or ...\QUEUE for spool files. If ...

For proper working OpenEMM, sendmail is required at the moment, postfix is not supported.

I do not see the problem. Your system sent the mail successfully, the remote system (hotmail) just informs you, how it handles the mail.

This may be the problem, please check the logfile for bavd for possible error messages (~openemm/var/log/*-bavd.log), thanks!

It is possible that you have changed the name server configuration while OpenEMM was already running? The already running sendmail process may try to access the nameserver using the old name server configuration, so you have to restart the application.

Thank you for this interesting approach. But this covers only one part of the bounce management, the interpreting of the returned mails. For bounces during the sending process, you still have to parse the sendmail log file. But if you want to avoid the usage of sendmail filter handling in this part ...

Is the file ~openemm/conf/bav/bav.rc owned by root and has only read-/writepermission set for the owner? Is bavd.py running?

After rotating the maillog, is it still readable by openemm? Have you rotated the logfile or just truncated it? If you just truncated it, the file has the same inode and the logparser tries to seek to the position it has been the last time. To force a reread, login as openemm, stop the reader by usi...

These are just creation report values on success. But there is no hint for the failure. This means the program itself seems to work, expect for admin sendings. The main difference is another destination directory. So please check if the directory ~openemm/var/spool/ADMIN ist existing and writable by...
