Re: Several Problems with Images
I can think of three ways to include images in mailings. Someone else may have other suggestions. 1) use "protected" (not trackable) embeded URL to external site where image file resides 2) use Agnitas dynamic image tag (agnIMAGE) in the template HTML image tag SOURCE field to "name&q...

Re: Several Problems with Images
Embedded links will be automatically converted to an OpenEMM server based URL by default. If you need to retain an embedded URL unchanged, then you need to go to the "Mailings/Trackable Links" tab and change each URL to "not trackable". This will prevent the internal conversion p...

Re: Attempt to use system sendmail include list fails
For some reason, the "sendmail process" on OpenEMM-2013 is unable to fully resolve the sendmail ":include:" directive. A sendmail debug session shows the sendmail process stopping after it reads the alias Db entry (eg; it returns ":include:/path/to/file") but does nothi...

OpenEMM-2013 sendmail process fails on sendmail alias proces
It appears that the OpenEMM-2013 "sendmail process" is unable to deal with "normal" sendmail alias entries that are NOT a list of addresses. That is, if the alias value is a program or an external included file (":include:"), the final alias resolution expected from &qu...

Attempt to use system sendmail include list fails
OS: Centos6+seLinux enabled 1) create entry in sendmail Aliases file such as: "testmlist: :include:/path/to/file" 2) update aliases db (newaliases) 3) create "/path/to/file" with 640 permissions and group=mail (sendmail DefaultUser) 4) insert one or more simple/regular e-mail add...

Re: Provide a batch delete method
"bulk delete" - that would be nice, but where is it documented? I can't find it in the 2013 Admin manual, 2013 GUI help, 2013 GUI functions, nor the 2013 Installation manual.

Provide a batch delete method
Where the list of recipients can change daily and is being done in batch uploads, versus being done by individual recipients, it may be necessary to wipe out the entire recipient "list" and re-import the new recipient "list". This is most useful for when OpenEMM is used as a &quo...

Provide optional method to replace recipient names To field
To allow a "mailing" appear to be from a "mailing list", develop an optional method whereby the mailing "To" field can be defined which would replace each recipiant's name in the "To" field. This would present each recipcient with the same, static, "To&qu...

Create workable templates in online Demo system
Create a "static" template with several text fields and simple images (eg; roman numerals on a light background). Create a "dynamic" template + Types + Content + Picture Components (like above). Load these same components every time that the Demo system is reloaded/restarted so i...

So - "untrackable" implies that an embedded link marked as such will be "left alone" ("as is")?

How to prevent embedded external links conversion?
When I create a CM content module with embedded, external, links in them - they get converted to an OpenEMM server modified format. The external content, however, does not exist on the OpenEMM server. How can I prevent these embedded external links from being converted (how can I preserve embedded l...

Re: OpenEMM-2013 C.M. bound template shows only tag names
OK - your suggestion about assigning content modules to a mailing work just fine. Thanks :) P.S. Now that content modules are displaying in the preview mode, there also now appears to be a "handle" for each dynamic section/module which in preview mode - allows one to reposition a section. ...

Re: OpenEMM-2013 C.M. bound template shows only tag names
A) I assume that by "2. Assign a template" that you are referring the a CM template - correct?
B) "4. Assign a content module to the same mailing" - hmmmm - perhaps THAT is what I failed to do
