I just tried an import with OpenEMM 5.3 / Windows 2000 and it worked fine. However, we will look deeper into this issue next week. Stay tuned!

Not a feature ...

We were able to reproduce this unwanted behaviour. It is a nasty bug and will be fixed in the next release. We will provide a patch via our bugtracker on SourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_i ... tid=848488) soon. Stay tuned!

Could you please describe a little more in detail: Did you use a template? Did you use the 4 target groups for one text block or 4 text blocks? Where exactly is the ill-behaving checkbox located in the user interface? Thank you!

If your file is just 3 lines could you anonymize its content and post it here? Or go to our demo account at address

http://demo.openemm.org:8081/logon.do?action=0

(user: user, password: testme)

and try out if it works there. Thank you!

How big is your import file? Larger files may take a while and cause a timeout. In this case just split your file in chunks of 20,000 or 30,000 recipients per file.

AOL?

Those e-mails where probably directed to AOL, right? If AOL does not know you (ie. you are not on their whitelist or EWL) their mail servers send some weird (non RFC compliant) responses which causes OpenEMM to resend mails. We are working on a AOL specific filter solution.

Please see the revised Install Guide which should answer your questions (if not, just post here again.)

SELinux

Thanks for the feedback! Did you disable SELinux or do you have changed the policy? If so, could you be so kind to post the policy (and probably save other Fedora users hours of work fiddling with the SELinux rules)?

No. We check the availability of demo.openemm.org every 15 minutes. No problems so far. Maybe your firewall blocks port 8081?

We will update the demo server to OpenEMM 5.3 this week and briefly took it offline to check something. But it is available right now.
