OpenEMM can do this out of the box (if you are an advanced user ;-) 1. Create a mailing of type "date based mailing" and do not forget to activate it when you are finished (tab "Send mailing"). 1. Define a target group like "FollowUp" with definition "creation_date = current_timestamp - 5" and set t...

english salutation

Please define your own salutation in OpenEMM in this menu:

Settings -> Forms of address (yes, bad wording, will be changed in the next release)

In your e-mail use the tag

[agnTITLEFULL type=1]

Replace "1" with the number of the salutation you defined.

Yes, right now this is a feature of our commercial version which runs on a distributed computer platform. To use this feature for OpenEMM (which is a single server solution) we have to optimize the code which will take some time.

No problem, this is a rather advanced feature of OpenEMM and not as intuitively designed as we would like it to be.

First come - first served

Yes, only the first record is processed (by incident, no bug), because every module gets filled by just one content record. If OpenEMM finds a matching record (and a record with target group "all subscribers" always matches) it uses this record to fill in the place holder (module) and stops processi...

Redirect Links

This is straight from our install guide (INSTALL.pdf, section 6.2 A): If you plan to use the redirect features of OpenEMM, open the file 'openemm.sql' with a text editor like edit or vim, and find and replace the string http://rdir.de with a valid Redirection-URL. In our example it is http://bounce....

This is a bug which will be fixed in - soon to be released - version 5.0.1. BTW, the values are not lost, but, unfortunately, not visible.

OpenEMM demo

Ok, here is what we will do: After releasing OpenEMM 5.0.1 (coming soon) we will offering a VMX Image for testing purposes. You just have to copy this file on your machine since the VMX Image runs on top of a VMware player which supports your operating system (as long as it is Linux or Windows). If ...
