"in use by abother process" error

We successfully installed OpenEMM 2013 and have everything running well except synchronous bounce management/filtering. We are receiving the following error whenever the server tries to process incoming mail. Outgoing mail works fine: Apr 14 19:49:42 ip-10-116-123-228 sendmail[15649]: unable to writ...

Re: No bounces in statistics

I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 and getting the exact same issues re: soft bounces. In my case, the bounce info is being written to mail.log, but ~/var/spool/log/extbounce.log does not exist. I'm not a server whiz (obviously!), but I guess openemm does not have write permissions on /var/spool/log? Any help w...

Error Reported / bounces not working

I'm doing a mailing now which appears to be sending fine, although I'm getting zero bounces (and my list isn't that good!). This is the error OpenEMM is emailing me (the mailing keeps progressing as I get the error emails): sql: select date_format(date_add(bind.change_date INTERVAL -5.0 HOURS), '%Y%...

Re: Error: A general error occurred. Please check your input

This error is even more bizarre as I have one very large list (100+/csv), and it works perfectly.

I am trying to use others that I export from Filemaker Pro as CSVs and they fail. The columns/fields are identical.

This has a totally stuck . . .

Re: Error: A general error occurred. Please check your input

The previous error in the log file I posted has been corrected. These are the fatal errors I'm getting: 2011-12-24 16:37:05,161: ERROR [http-8080-1] org.agnitas - doStartTag: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.MySQLSyntaxErrorException: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corres...

Error: A general error occurred. Please check your input.

I keep getting the above error on a brand new installation (everything else is working fine). I looked in the catalina.out log file and this is the only error I could find: PANIC : error configuring SimpleLog4JLogSystem : java.io.FileNotFoundException: /home/emm/var/log/velocity.log (No such file or...

Re: "Error in dyn tags."

I am getting this issue too on Ubuntu 64 bit machine with gobs of memory.

I installed yesterday on a 32bit machine and everything was fine. The install directions don't indicate any additional requirements for x64 Ubuntu.

How can I fix this?

Re: One Openemm - 4 computers. Is this possible?

Disregard my last post, I got it all working: Web Server runs the pages Database Server holds all the data The web server is running on Amazon EC2, and the Database server is running on Amazon's RDS service. I'm uploading about 75,000 records now and its going pretty fast (although I have no frame o...

Re: One Openemm - 4 computers. Is this possible?

I am trying to host openemm pages, etc on one server and the database on another. I edited both cms.properties and emm.properties to point to the remote database server, but openemm times out when it tries to connect. cms.properties : ##################################################### # Database ...
