HI, I can not confirm the error with version 5.0.1 of OpenEMM. I did a fresh install of OpenEMM and it worked for me, the url ist translated into a trackable link. @flyboy I had problems with the right URL in the html-window of the mailings since fckeditor was trying to sanitise the "&"...

Same problem here,

my urls are like to one from flyboy, e.g.

http://somehost.somedomain.com:8080/for ... D=##AGNUID##

I can confirm it in version 5.0.0, hadn't time to check it on 5.0.1. I'm running on debian 3.1

Hi craigad,

the tar command is the installation. It should extract the tar archiv into the "/home/openemm" directory.

Do you have any files in the "/home/openemm/" directory ?

I know I will get a warning for this, but for the recourceful programmer there is a quite easy way to extend OpenEMM to support more than one client as, I guess, the code is taken from EMM which is by design for more than one client. I have it up and running on my box, but since it is not supposed t...

Hi torcolato, I am running OpnenEMM on a debian system and as far as I understand the system there are at least two ways how OpenEMM identifies bounce emails. The first one is through maillog. If the foreign email server rejects the email during the smtp session an error is log in the maillog file a...

master is right here,

if you already installed OpenEMM, you can change it in the database as well. You'll find the entry in the "company_tbl" table. just change it and your ready to go.

Hi Sam,

I had the same problem on debian. During isntallation I ran into trouble importing the sql file. I solved the problem trough upgrading the mysql version from 4.0.24 to 4.1.11a.
Since it tried it on a spare machine the upgrade was no problem for me.

Good news everyone, I just got OpenEMM-5.0.0 (binary .tar.gz) running on a debian 3.1 system, including bounce management and everything. I just finished testing ... :D After I found a bit of sleep I'll post the steps that where special to debian, but basically you can use the steps described in the...
