OpenEMM Support

I'm trying to implement some form of support for DomainKeys in OpenEMM, and I'm having a little trouble locating the portion of code that actually sends the emails (using sendmail, not smtp). I think I may have narrowed it down to one of the python scripts (I see that bavd.py opens up the sendmail program) but I'm not 100% sure.

If anyone could give me some hints on where to look, that would be great. I'm also interested in learning more about the emailing susbystem of OpenEMM in general, so if anyone has some documentation on that, I would appreciate it very much.
